This is an add-on excursion or set of small trips which be tacked onto any of our South Africa itineraries. It’s not really a stand alone trip as we only spend maximum of 4 days in the Kalahari Red Dunes and Large White Flats. Also, in search of the Kalahari Lion and that “moon look” photography, dusty high contrast and high-key photography is specialized and we often recommend 3-4 nights for these specific photos and locales. Of course we can adjust and make them longer, but it is not a first timer trip or on par with other safaris we offer. It’s a great few days, but amateurs and those with limited time are better off focusing on our signature trips.

ADD-ON ITINERARY - Before Signature 2025 Trip: July 22-July 26th, 2025

Day 1 - Arrival Day Joburg & Overnight Safari BnB (addt’l charge)
Day 2 - Transfer to Kimberly/Upington - drive to Private Lodging and Deluxe Camp 1 (PM Game Drive)
Day 3/4 - Private Concession & Deluxe Tent Camp (AM / PM Game Drives)
Day 5 - AM Game Drive time permitting, ground transfer return to airport for domestic back to JNB

COST: $1,500/PP - Based on Double Occupancy (Deluxe Lodging, field transport, gourmet meals, field snacks, beverages) - Single occupancy add $375
Does not include: Airfare to JNB, arrival Joburg Hotel/BnB, Domestic air charters to Upington/Kimberly, premium liquor, laundry or massage services, guide & staff gratuities.
